"If there be a principle that ought not to be questioned within the United States, it is that every man has a right to abolish an old government and establish a new one. This principle is not only recorded in every public archive, written in every American heart, and sealed with the blood of a host of American martyrs, but is the only lawful tenure by which the United States hold their existence as a nation." ~ James Madison (1751-1836)

You could say it sounds naive, today; but back in 1776 several thousand men, young and old, fought and died for that belief. They were right then, and it's still true now. Anyone else get the distinct feeling that we've lost our way?

Hey, I'm glad you like my newest drawings! The landscape pieces you posted are really interesting, are they edited photos, or what?

An HDR (high dynamic range) photo is a compilation of several images taken of the same location at different exposure levels, some of which capture the darkest details while leaving the bright areas mostly washed out, and some of which show all the bright details while leaving the dark areas mostly black. Digital camera sensors are not capable of showing all of the details at once, and even the human eye has limits, but it can automatically readjust itself. Putting photos together this way gives a sort of hyper-real quality to photography, but I actually need to rework mine because the effect is supposed to be more like this one ( [link] )

You're welcome.

Yes, it looks like typical polish last name, so I thougt it's probably that you come from Poland :P

Yeah, CA is nice, especially towards the north end. I catch myself wishing I was back there a lot.

Life moves on though, and I'm here on the other side of the country...
